Time is precious – waste it wisely

I don’t know about anyone else but I never seem to have enough hours in the day. Don’t get me wrong, although I work, I’m certainly not a workaholic. It’s just that there are so many other things I want to do. Crafting, writing, walking, meeting up with friends and potting up plants in my greenhouse. Then there is the stuff that I really ought to be doing like laundry, cleaning, cooking, tidying, mowing the lawn and weeding.

I tend to rush about a lot, often not accomplishing much in the process. This usually happens when I’m tired or run down. When I have lots of things that need doing I can get a bit lost and not know where to start. Sometimes I just can’t see the wood for the trees. When we get like this we should stop and take a step back. We can’t be busy ALL the time, we need to take some time out to recharge our batteries.

Don’t feel guilty for taking some time out just for you. We all need some down time. Whether you go out for a walk, watch TV, browse the internet, have a nap, just sit and watch the world go by or just sit and do nothing. Do whatever makes your soul happy. Time you enjoy wasting is never wasted.

Be you once in a while.
